find us
Tynnøl
Backpackers Lodge is situated close to the main road between
Dombås and Åndalsnes (E136). You will find our sign along
the main road 3 km west of Lesja centre. It sits on the border between
Eastern and Western Norway – about 600 m above the sea level in the
upper part of the major valley of Gudbrandsdalen, not far from where
the road stoops down to the famous fjord landscape.
- Take the train to Lesja st. from Oslo, Oslo Airport, Åndalsnes
or Trondheim. See: www.nsb.no.
- Take the express coach Oslo – Ålesund/Molde. See: www.nor-way.no.
- Several local bus services from Otta or Dombås call at Lesja.

Lesja
train station is at Lesja centre, 3½ km from Tynnøl. Walk
down to the main road and follow the walking/cycling path along the
main road westwards until you find our signpost. Follow the signs
downhill to Tynnøl.
Buses stop at 'Presteløkken', 300 m from Tynnøl. Follow
the signs down to the farm.
